Lynn and Beau are home safe and sound. Tell everyone that I had a terrific time shopping and got some really nice slacks, a beautiful collar for Sevon and some fantastic pics of Beau. It was great to have some $$ to spend!!!!!!!!!

Today we ran Team Jumpers, Team Snooker and Steeplechase. All three were clean, and the Snooker run was awesome. Jumpers and Steeplechase were slow, compared to the competition, but this is Nationals, after all. And Beau is not the fastest dog....but he is accurate and honest and did a very good job today. We are quite proud.

Beau, Jim, Anne and I had a slightly more exciting time getting here than I would have wanted; Beau's sedative did not take effect very quickly and at the Cville airport he ate the zipper to his carry-on bag. Greg had to rush to PetSmart to buy a sherpa bag for him; we did a dance around airport security getting him switched out. Fortunately he did settle into his new bag.
We spent Tuesday relaxing and shopping, and walking around Scottsdale. It's a very pretty town.
Today we had one run, European Standard and ran clean. Beau was accurate but slow. I think he was a bit dehydrated and plan to give him supplemented water tomorrow to encourage him to drink more.
